Morton Bay fig tree - Imlay Street, Eden.
This was one of five Morton Bay figs (Ficus Macrophylla) planted along Imlay Street in 1906 to mark the occasion of Imlay Shire Council's first meeting. Although the others were cut down, this tree was moved to its present site on the edge of the Eden Public School grounds to preserve it. It is currently the focus of research and this page will be updated when more information is available.
