These plaques and tree plantings were undertaken as part of Eden's bicentenary Australia Day commemorations in 1988. Three trees were planted and associated plaques unveiled near the town's scout hall by scouts to commemorate early local European pioneers Sir Oswald Brierly, S. and H. Solomon and Thomas Raine. Trees were also planted and plaques unveiled in Wellings Park to remember Charles and Martha Kebby; James and Robert Allen; and Patrick Whelan. As further information becomes available, this page will be updated.
